If the person feels bad about their manipulation of the image of them, that is ethically wrong. 6. As I said, any changes that person like is ok. As a third person we shouldn't tell which change is wrong or right as long as the person likes it. Also, I think they should mention if this photo is manipulated. 7. Fashion photography could affect the ethical practice because they manipulate so much. Photojournalism could make the photo meaning different to the people . 9. Magazines Part 2

Image Based- Get attraction from reader by interesting picture or person that can attract viewer. For example like travel magazine or celebrities in magazine Illustration Based- This was the only method to create cover page of the magazine in old days. Nowadays the all the illustrated image uses computer graphics Type Based - It's not typical way, but usually this type of method is strong and shocking because most of the time they chose some shocking quotes or they put shocking statistics. Concept Based - This type of cover page is easy to understand the meaning of the image of the cover by readers. The ideas could be really funny to readers, but that is the main point. Relationship between words and photo in magazine cover is they support each others weakness.

My Favorite Cover

"Sometimes a cover transcends its role as the illustration of a story—and becomes the story itself. Over a series of nine photo shoots, Amanda Demme captured 35 of the women who have accused Bill Cosby of sexual assault. She posed them facing the camera directly—facing a culture that wouldn't listen to them, facing Cosby himself.  Under each accuser was the period of the alleged assault. Each woman sat in a chair. A thirty-sixth chair was left empty, a stand-in for all those who have yet to come forward, in the Cosby case and any other." http://www.magazine.org/sites/default/files/New%20York-Best%20News%20and%20Politics.jpg This Magazine cover is really unique because there are all the women who accused Bill Cosby for sexual assault. I thought it was effective to show who is Bill Cosby and what have he done. It's really interesting that all the portrait of women are black and white. I think it's trying to include emotion to the portrait. I liked the id

Subject of the portrait is moving the camera. Casual Portrait   I chose this image because the color of the bench and the background matches so well.   I liked how the photographer created the depth of the field. Project Idea For the self portrait,  I am going to take a picture of my self lie on the bed or sitting on the desk and thinking something really serious. Probably I have to create good depth of field in order to get good and attractive image, focusing on certain part,

Warm-up and prompt shoot #2

Warm up 1. I felt really sorry who took these pictures. Emotions like sad, suffer, and beautiful because the love between the photographer and the wife is really beautiful, but her pain from fighting with breast cancer is sad. 2. The photographer said this because probably he thinks he and his wife is one thing, and nothing can separate them. 3. I think I can take pictures because this is the last moments of a person who I loved or who I obeyed. It is good to save the last moment with person like that. 4. I would say, "You are the saddest, strongest, and painful man because you lost your lovely wife, but you still kind of overcome those with saving her times by taking pictures". Africa 1. I was surprised because in only 13 years a lots of things changed in Africa. Also, I thought taking picture of wild animal is pretty cool because it could be really dangerous. I learned photographers needed a great motivations to take good photos. 2.    3. I like this photo because it makes you feel about that animal. I think humans destroyed the animal's home land. 4. I think rule of third is used in different way because rhino is in the rule of thirds area, but it is leaving not coming. 5. He uses Pentax 67II with only two fixed lenses without telephoto or zoom lenses. 6. He wants to show a animal that is state of being under terrible threat caused by humans. 7. Hope that some readers get inspired by his photos and to help animal conservation in Africa. 9. " What I am interested in is showing the animals simply in the state of being—before, in the wild at least, they cease to exist. This world is under terrible threat, all of it caused b

1. The first thing that caught my eyes were the big group of people going down the street. I just felt like the photo was showing how people lived back then, also the photographer took this picture and it looks like they are really desperate for something. 2. I see people going down the street with desperate with their money or with their lives. I smell disgusting people's smell because they are homeless. They probably lost their jobs. I hear people's voice with eager to live through this hard time I taste the people's frightened feeling in the air I feel like they are displaced by someone, so seeking for their lives. I see  several people waiting on the train platform I smell  the iron from staircases, track, and train I hear  the engine of train and choo-choo sound of the train I taste the fresh air of new place and nostalgia. I feel something special about travelers in the track platform 3. I would like to create blog of Andre Kertes

Academic Shoot reflection and critique

Part 1 1. Because it was in the classroom, I had to wait till they had some pose that I wanted. 2. I focused on focus because that technical aspect determines the clear subject or not, also focusing on the subject and blurring out the background looks good. 3. I would use the rules of composition more correctly, and I would focus on the subject. 4. Focusing on the subject. 5. I think the lines and rule of thirds are pretty simple at least I think. 6. The hardest one to achieve was framing and simplicity because finding frame is kind of hard and finding and making simple background is hard. 7. I am still struggling on balancing because I am not sure what kind of photo is balanced. Part 2 http://ashtonsphotojournalismblog.blogspot.com/2016/09/academic-shoot.html I liked the idea of taking picture through the classroom door, and make the frame. Also, he had good simple backgrounds. I think he could do much better job on the 'lines' because the picture of lines
